I remembered first time,
on 25th october,
picked you up on prom night, you looked so good,
Sweating like i was in a boiler,
Despite of that fact that my feet are cold,
and i started to stutter,
i tried to keep cool,
as i stepped on the accelerator,
coz we're already late for the prom
'bout an hour,
Im sorry 'cause we were late,
and we weren't in time for the food,
didn't eat, but you didnt blamed me,
although i think you should,
Asked if you would sit with my friends,
You said you wont mind,
Baby when you said that,
I knew you were one of a kind!.
And after that, as we were walking downstairs,
to the parking lot,
we both held hands,
i swear i couldnt hold back my smile,
can't control my thoughts,
my emotions, (i swear) was running wild,
if there was anytime i wished you hold me,
i wished it was now!.
Till then, i'll pray every night,
To turn back time somehow!.
Sorry baby but i have to leave this place,
And i wont be back for awhile,
You know how it lights up my face
just to see you smile!.
ANd if I had a wish i wished right now
that i could've met you sooner,
and that we could've meet somehow,
and i can fall in love all over again as a child,
in my wildest dreams, we'll be lying down,
under the stars, at the beach,
'cause you told me it was like your second home,
at the moment, i will extend my hands out to reach,
for a touch, then a hug, then kiss,
then we be making love,
Too bad it didnt happen,
its why i'm writing this speech with a wish!.
