My eyes are shut
I’m sitting here wishing
Can’t I just undo time
For once, I need this
You’re the air I breathe
You’re everything I need
And now I’m suffocating
You said you’d always be my side
And I’d be your bride
But I was kidding myself
My desires consumed me
You couldn’t understand my emotions
And your confusion killed your passion
So you just walked away
You didn’t say a d*** word
You just left me
So here I stand
And I’m pleading now
Give me a chance
If I have to beg on my knees
I will in a heartbeat
You made my world a better place
The way you used to make me smile
I could forget the pain for a little while
And you told me I was beautiful
But was that another lie
I really need to know
Because sadly, I loved you so
So goodbye my almost lover

If I could have my broken heart back
