Yea so I woke up this morning with never ending thoughts and I had to write them down

Grab my coat
Rush to the window
Quietly down the fire escape
Climb a ladder
Hop a fence
Cold, flushed, smiling faces
My real family
8th to C street
Broadway to Harbor
Let's watch the waves
Reflecting lights
Sparkling lights
No stress, no drama
No grades, no school
No parents, no worries
Just us
Our noses are cold
We breath clouds
Let's huddle in a circle
Sharing warmth
Like penguins
The stores are closed
The bars are open
But we're too cool
To get wasted and high
Let's get high on life
Our giggles echo off the skyscrapers
Five on the verge of seventeen
Haunt the streets with laughter
The cement island is our dancefloor
And our tongues are the DJ's
Shooting star
Holding pinkies
Hoping this would never end
Wishing we'd never grow older
God, We pray
