Question: Do you like my poem / song!?
A lark, caught in a hunter's net
Sang sweeter then than ever,
As if the falling melody
Might wing and net dissever!.

At dusk the hunter took his pray,
The lark his freedom never!.
All birds and men are sure to die
But songs may live forever!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, and I spent some time translating it in French for you as requested earlier, but there was a "yahoo" temporary glitch and now I can't find your question anymore!.

Poetry is notoriously difficult to translate and restore into verse in another language!.
Here is the translation but I am afraid it neither scans nor rhymes!.

Title!?
The song of the Lark!. Le chant de l'alouette!.
There is a piece of music called "Lark ascending" !.You could call your poem "Lark captive""L' alouette captive"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I agree!. i could deff see that with light piano or guitar and i think a good name could be freedom or forever!. i really think forever would be a great title of the two!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
