Question: Do you think that this is a good poem or not!?
You have to follow the quote marks closely because Yahoo! answers doesn't allow you to highlight or italicize words!. There are three speakers, a Christian, an Evolutionist, and a narrorator!.

Coffee House Debate

Inside this here coffee house,
Has two men drinking tea!.
Be as quiet as a mouse,
And listen to what will be!.

“Evolution is a mad mans game,
No way could you believe in that!.”
“If it is to you sir all the same,
This is the reason and the fact!.”

“Oh, alright sir, I am hearing,
Pray, speak these “facts” at least!.”
“From all your talk I am tearing,
Start with Lucy; half man half beast”

“Johansson; 1978,
Three million years old; is this what you mean!?”
“Yes indeed part human part ape,
Aha! It’s good! The light you have seen!”

“All bones like a monkey found in one place,
All like a human, found in another!.”
“Sir, your to picky; yourself you disgrace,
Let us move on, oh boy, and oh brother!.

“I could go on, but you say end,
Let us start new; the balls in your court!.”
“Very well, sir this you won’t bend,
Carbon dating; I have pierced through your fort!”

“Not even a poke has stricken me,
Is this the Subject!? I think it shan’t-“
“-We’ll discuss this if you please,
Unless of course you can’t!.”

“Carbon dating you must expect,
The levels always been the same!.”
“What you say, sir is correct,
Why is that so lame!?”

“Russian royalty traced back bones,
Carbon dating dated wrong!.”
“Now good day, sir I’m going home,
I fear it’s been too long!.”

This is how their meeting went,
And every week they met!.
Evolutionist always did consent,
And always left upset!.

Evolutionist thought Christian blind,
He had tried for what seemed forever!.
He just could not change his mind,
Make headway; he could never!.

Then one day, Evolutionist thought
He would try a church!.
He wanted to know what they taught,
And for Christian’s weak spot he would search

And for the first time he did hear,
For this time he did listen!.
And to his eyes there came a tear
For Jesus’ crucifixion!.

When the pastor gave the call,
Up he went with a running start!.
And to his knees did he fall,
Then asked Jesus in his heart!.

From his knees; lengthily stirred,
His eyes where teary; he could not see!.
A familiar voice then he heard!.
“Care to join me for some tea!?”Www@QuestionHome@Com
