Position:Home>Poetry> Do we need a name for everything?
Question: Do we need a name for everything!?
You are not a flower and Sol is the sun,
only,
with no capacity to hate or scathe!.
The Bishop says what he knows
and his strength has crooked wings
that flap in disgust!.
You turn from him and look for something better
and find a black furled curtain
with an old man waiting behind
the shadow it makes
on the treacherous green carpet!.
You refuse to not stand, telling
the sad and old and meaningless man
how you want to feel when the world
is ready!.
He wants questions and you have
none!.
Sol
is the sun,
only!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This poem reminds me!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
"On the first part of the journey
I was looking at all the life
There were plants and birds and rocks and things
There was sand and hills and rings
The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz
And the sky with no clouds
The heat was hot and the ground was dry
But the air was full of sound "
I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain"!!!

There's a saying that if you can give a name to something, it is yours!. We are always seeking labels to define that which is really not known!. Sol is not the sun only!.!.!.Sol is also an older gentleman who sells delicious pastry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Turning from the Bishop to the confessional!? I liked the refusing to not stand double negative, forcing us to think more and then also that he wants questions!.!.!.!.rather than he wants answers!.!.!.again, making us stop in the read to THINK!. You play with our thought process in this one very well!.!.!.!.using only words!. But, I'll never label you, nor put you into a box that confines!.

Say what you want
Say it with style
Labels stand only
To deceive or defile
Truth has no need
To call Sol by name
True treachery lies
In the Bishop's own game
