Beautiful flowers grew as she watched the lands
And grow they did, swaying as the winds blow!.
Time, years, decades passed when she couldn't toil
In her beloved garden of beauty; and the winds blew!.
Watching and waiting and searching for hope anew
Coming out of the overgrown land in the neglected soil!.
Perennials battled the weeds for survival but the show
Of dandelions came; that scurge of her worked land!.
With tears she pulled the weeds with bloodied hands,
