Orange skies paint the background
Of my morning
Radiating the brown trunks of trees
Green with envy
Causing roses to blush red
Like a woman thorn-ed
My garden holds its secrets
In chrysanthemums
Splashed in yellow and violet

My city is full of people
Who like flowers
Bloom and color my world
A living breathing rainbow of beauty
Bringing joy to my eyes
