Question: IMAGINED: "FROM HER VIEWPOINT"!?
Why can't he see my pain, when he does what he wants;
doesn't he know I hurt, from his actions and taunts!?
Just a little word, which he could throw my way;
would make me feel special, would really make my day!.
Is it necessary, for him to put me down;
to make me feel so weak, to make me wear a frown!?
Why can't he just treat me, as a close special friend:
give me back my laughter, and change our present trend!?
Why can't he understand, that I just need to feel;
appreciated some, it's not that big a deal!?
He knows I'm a woman, and knows I have a life;
I can't live just for him, and put up with his strife!.
Why can't he just listen, to what I have to say!?
It really won't take long, a small part of his day!.
Just how would it hurt him, if he knew how I felt;
Could it bruise his ego, leave maybe a small welt!?
Can't he see what's missing, from our relationship;
and take the time to help, us both to get a grip!?
Can't he see he'll lose me, if changes are not made!?
I don't want us to end, and pay the price as paid!.
