my favorite poet, by far is tennyson!. which is strange because he is such a "man's poet" but i love his poems: choric song of the lotos eater, ring out wild bells, loksey hall, or here seeps the crimson petal!. some of my other favorite poets are, hughes, stevens, plath, elliot, auden i also like a Contemporary poet from my hometown Pittsburgh, terrance hayes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't like poetry!. I don't appreciate the nonsense of artificial states brought about by insincere words!. I detest the search for splendours that do not exist!.

I do however read John Betjemen's work!. He reminds me of reality more often than fancy!. To look at him, you would not think him a gigolo, but he knows more about lust than Byron, and less about daisies than Wordsworth!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Aside from Dr Suess, I can't think of someone who is all on one side of the scale!. Emily Dickinson and Rudyard Kipling have their peaceful moments!. Robert Frost is calm and collected!. There are many good peaceful poems!.!.!.
