Sometimes, its for cathartic reasons!. Sometimes, it just an inner creativity that shines through, something that inspires me to imagine the most unique imaginations, and put them in form words that paint and words that strike a rhythm as you say them!. Writing a poem is a satisfaction in itself!. And then, I can also flaunt my poems :D
And personally, I can't dance much, I don't sing well, I do paint but I'm not that good with it, and at least right now, I don't know how to play any musical instrument(however I would like to learn it sometime)!.!.!.so poems are the way to go!!!

And I think the need to express ourselves may be an inherent human axiom!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
