where shadows are cast
and i look in to your eyes
they glow
they make me tremble inside
danger
and then you smile
and i cast away the mistrust
as i am enveloped in to your arms
always guided by my heart
the breath of my feelings
it escapes me as your fingers touch my skin
a play upon who we are
but we are told no
and my heart shatters
in to a million pieces
and i can't wait
to know the reason why
to be able to feel again
once again numb
cast away back in to the shadows of the valley to wait
maybe im not supposed to wait
