So once again
It’s that time of year
For a winter chill
And some Christmas cheer

A time for family
And friends too
With some special time
For me and you

And again we’ll show
How much we care
With the gifts and cards
That we share

But please remember
On Christmas day
It’s not the gifts
It’s the things we say

The greetings shared
That makes us feel nice
That no shop can sell

i really like this poem!. i hate how Christmas and all the other holidays have become nothing more than a spending spree!. people would rather go broke than disappoint a kid who wanted an xbox!. i like the meaning behind this and i wish more people felt that the holidays were meant for family, friends and religion!.
