Mother wolf though caught
in trap set waiting
sees deadly threat to her young
without a thought
she chews through to bone
gains release to save her pup

Forget mother hen and her chicks
this wolf will not stand idly by
you go after her beloved son
though hampered with missing limb
she'll aim for your throat and
