Question: How is this for a poem on the loss of all your energy and beliefs of your youth!?
Once I kissed my flesh to flame
Flame limped away burnt
Looking for a balm

Someone asked me about heresy
and I said yes

Yes, some more
I tipped generously, and said
Keep them coming

Now I sit here
Cross examined by life
Taking the Fifth in all it's forms

I won't pick from the menu
I'll just eat whatever they serve
and let them add the tip to the tab
Whatever Dear Abby says they deserve

Now, it's another birthday
another celebration
Looking at those candles on the cake
Wishing they could blow me outWww@QuestionHome@Com
