Question: Are you a slave to the words!? or, Are they your prisoners!?
My mind is wrangling
Writhing and tangling
Blending and crushing
As words come rushing

Foolishly reaching out
Catching them like a trout
Flopping round in my net
Or worse even yet …

Foolishly catch the words
Flying around like birds
Caught in my small confines
Daylight too brightly shines

Causing my head to ache
As feebly, it I shake
A long deep breath I take
Seeing the mess I make
I simply say……………!.

Please take the words away
Give me some space today
Space in my crowded head
Put all these words to bed

Words are invocations, they invoke spirits, fate and good fortune, Gods and good luck!. I avoid using words associated with negativity, of late it has become almost as a phobia, I try to override it, and with a degree of success!. As when I was a little girl, walking along the pavement focussed upon the ground avoiding stepping on the cracks because it was considered bad lack!. Neurosis is born of this!. I am not neurotic but yes there are deliciously beautiful words, harsh violent words, tender gentle words, and mundane insomnia curing words !.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Interesting thought!
No, I don't ask for them to be put to bed,
I ask for them to find relief in a perfect home upon a page!
