Tough to say what it might mean!. Many interpretations seem possible!.

An obvious one is that the first four lines describe the way the world renews itself seasonally!. This is juxtaposed with the last line, which is about some kind of death: maybe a death of innocence of some sort or an actual death!. The poem could be about about a mourner who can't let go of his/her grief the way the earth lets go of winter!.

Edit: !.!. if you're looking at it being about a mourner the last image also suggests a conflation of that mourner with the dead person!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"A numberless calendar surrounds me over head!.!.!."
It could refer to the sun, moon, stars and the sky!.
"The brightness and darkness!.!.!."
It could refer to the day and night!.
"The greens and browns; Falling death dried flakes turn to born again blossoms!.!.!."
It could refer to the autumn and spring!.
" A year has passed and staring eyes have yet to blink!."
It could refer to people still not changing!.
So in short, this poem means people should change, let go of their sad pasts and grieving and start a new year, a new life!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hm!.!. autumn came to mind!.!. "greens and browns, falling death dried flakes"!.!.!. then passing through the death of winter, emerges spring -"born again blossoms"!. Yet it seems though seasons change, there is something unchanged, for "staring eyes have yet to blink"!. It leads us to the beginning, where "A numberless calendar surrounds me over head" - lost in time, perhaps!? "The brightness and darkness" might be referring to day and night, or they could be about circumstances or moods!.

Thanks for the intriguing poem!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

It has a spiritual tone to it-maybe it is somebody that is sharing a peaceful experience after passing on!? Or this could be a angelic beings view as they are on a assignment !.Seems like they are watching a cycle and observing it very simply, strange as there is no emotion shared!. This is deep to me and i like it very much!. Thank you very much!Www@QuestionHome@Com
