Question: Should there be opposition in all things!?
What is life!?

If in the race of life
I had faithfully run!.
And having started
That race had won!.
Never straying from
From within the lines
Guiding a runner on!.
At the end of my life
What would have been
My life’s sum!?

If only love I had shown
To all of mankind!.
If only good thoughts
Were all that entwined!.
What would life give
A forever pure mind!.
No unrighteousness,
Motives of a nobler kind
And to my fate I were
Unquestionably resigned

If such a life I lived,
How would I have
Known love if I had
Never known sorrow!.
How would I have
Known good if no
Evil I could borrow!.
Facing oppositions
I must experience!.
To do so, I must have
The right to questions!.

To answer your question directly, yes!.
As usual I enjoyed reading your poem and am inspired by your words!. I'm in a funk, however and cannot seem to write anything worth sharing!.
Thank you for the inspiration!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do like your poem but with all due respect I shall adress the question, if I may!.

As with magnetism, electricity and polar opposites There MUST, without a doubt in my mind, be opposition, however it should be noted that even in opposition we can get along with respect and kindness even if we do not agree!. There is always the ability to agree to our differences and find a common ground that we share!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Meager, repairable mistakes!.
1!. From from (!?)
2!. "If only love I had shown," is supposed to be written like, "Only if I had shown love!"!.
3!. "And to my fate _I were_,(should be "I would") unquestionably resign(-ed-)!."
4!. "Evil I could," change to, "Evil could I!.!.!."!.
5!. Not understanding how the last line fits in!.

I honestly love your last stanza, because it's very clear and meaningful!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I enjoyed your poem!. It expresses well that we have a choice to choose!. Righteousness/sin; Love/hate; Kind/cruel; Sweet/bitter, etc!. It might be that the sum total of life is choice!.It causes me to ponder!.!.!. often when we don't like our options, we may feel that we have no choice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Never straying from
From within the lines
Guiding a runner on!.

To experience all aspect of life, there must be a time when we have the right to question!.
Thought provoking, as your poems are!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it's good Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your work is as usual quite remarkable, the conciseness clarity of thought produces, I tend to write voluminously when tired or tormented!.!.!.

I think it gains a satisfaction
From imposition to my opposing
What does he want from he who seeks
Two rages firing in anger,
Create hellish havoc whereso they roam!.

Of his world and court aside, abide
Broken upon life’s lonely shores
He wafts and brings promise of a new day
The rage subsides not and his mercy awaits!.

Cast alone in struggle and strife
Learnt to stand alone and be
In battling demons, living as solitary
I care neither for life nor my death!.

God is life, and Love too
Life has passed and much love remains
Devoid of light in darkness spent
He stands distant afar, sun’s circumvent!.

It lurks about him, the evil brood
Neither caring completely nor setting free
For whom my life he cast adrift
Ensures now the ongoing rift !.!.!.

I know so much, yet sense not nor of remiss
In learning of life and love or solitary bliss
Rather would I die, so let it be, in solemnity
This life has passed remains but as a shadow!.

Loved Be !.!.!.
