Why did I click on this strange thing!?
I cannot rhyme with anything!.
The words won't come!. It just won't flow!.
I'm in a crazy spot, you know!.

To write a poem on demand is really kinda slow!.
A task for those more smart than me, and to the mind a blow!.
And poetry, or doggerel, has very little use!.
But if I fail, doubtless I will dream up some excuse!.

The Rum, the marijuana, the cocaine and LSD
Have overcome my intellect, as you can plainly see!.
My lone remaining brain cells are not up to this new task
What do you want from me!? Do you know what it is you ask!?

To be artistic on demand is quite a rough tough chore!.
You want to see some talent, and I wish that I had more!.!.!.
It really is amazing that I'd try this thing at all,
But try I did, although my brain is dying

I'm writing this poem just for fun
and it looks like im competing with everyone
who took this contest quite seriously
a little more seriously than me

this is just a little cool
though my poem's pretty much bull
im watching the news and typing this now
it's been awhile since i have seen a cow

i should be doing chemistry
but that's about as gross as drinking pee
or maybe i should go to sleep
this poem's about to take a leap

four stanza's are probably fine don't you think!?
if i do any more it will probably stink ;]
i hope you liked it though it wasn't much
to type up this poem, think it up, and such!.

The Healed wound

When you lie awake, what do you think!?
When you see me, what do you think!?
When I see you, I think about you!.
When I laugh I wonder why!?
After you said the last GOOD-BYE,
I felt incomplete and unloved!.
I still look at you as I did when we were together!
I start to cry but you dry the tears I shed!.
I never want to feel like that again!.
After I met you, I was the happiest person on the earth!
For some odd reason I still look at you and wish, you were mine
As I write this poem, I think of you and the happiness it brought me
Then the Past let the unhealed wounds burn like salt in a fresh wound
I can’t tell you why I feel different but I do
The salt burns then you put water on it and heal my broken heart!.
The time that eventually passes
I remember the person who cared when no one else did
The person I could tell anything to even when I felt like sh**
The last person to hurt me I can never forget him
I will always remember you the kind person who healed my wounds
I kissed them good-bye because you will always protect me

COME CLOSER TO ME
When I see you standing across the bus stand,
My eyes seem to say come closer to me!.
As you sit across the class in my sight,
I again seemingly say come to my right,
Then when my eyes glance at you in the Mall,
To me you seem ever so tall,
As my mind is ready to convey,
Come closer please,
Come closer to me!.

Then when I see you at the beach,
I want to seemingly beseech,
You seem to lie nearby, again my voice tries,
My vision chokes yet lustfully my eyes,
Seemingly spark and yell,
Come closer to me they tell,
Come, now will please,
Come closer to me!.

As I lie on the floor and you do come nearer,
I’m sure you do come very much closer,
But alas I cannot now at all see,
But now you do not want to believe me!.

Of that I am confident, but I am no more!.
Yet I know that you did come closer for sure,
But in this birth I wasn’t meant for thee!.
This can you accept on behalf of me!.

Yes, how I wish you had come near,
When I was in search of you my dear,
But it’s too late so sad yet cruelly true,
How I really, yes truly needed you!.

How I wish you will closer to me lie!?
When you too, to the world bid good bye,
Hope then you will come closest ever to me,
And make me absolutely feel, as if I can see!.

Please now at least, do come closer to me!.
