in this mess, this jumbled mess!?
Young or old, hot or cold
as ice as lava as rocks as newborn babies!?
When should I stop running and start walking and
should I ever sit down,
ever never!?
He tells me to grow up,
get real!. Start thinking about
the Future!.
Why should I grow up, get real,
when all I want to do
is run through the grass,
jump in puddles,
ride a bike without a helmet,
hate bedtime,
and love, simply love!?
Why should I want to be a kid
when all I want to do
is grow up,
make money,
fall in love,
start a family,
and have a life
of my own!?
Maybe time should just slow down!.
Everyone should just slow
down!.
