Why!?

wasting life
losing soul
thinking twisted
seeking no answers
drowning sorrow
numbing pain
rejecting offers
showing the way

cutting self off
answering no calls
making poor choices
seeing no hope
feeling unloved
drinking to death
killing loved ones

This is good and I'm sure it is sincere!. You may want to fill in a little more detail, particularly as it pertains to the disease of alcoholism!. Perhaps clarifying that "making poor choices" doesn't mean that the person chooses to be alcoholic or, for that matter, chooses to drink at all (that is rarely a choice for us)!. I wish you the best in dealing with this difficult situation; the fact that you are supporting someone through Al-anon says that you are moving in the right direction!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
