Question: Have you ever visited "Whiskey Row"!?
Whiskey Row

In Old Town Prescott, Arizona
there is a legendary place
known simply as Whiskey Row
Late 1800's saloons stand
proudly together like friends
as they once stood before
their hardwood floors echo
sounds of worn cowboy boots
striding across to the bar
tin type photos line the walls
of days passed long ago
polished brass tube
aligns base of the bar
just a foot above the floor
where weary boots rested
after long, dusty ride
behind the bar sits a
mirrored lined wall
reflecting a century
of hard hitting drinking
by men whose lives
had hard hitting rules
the bar itself a massive plank
of rich red mahogany
hand carved work its ornament
beside sits a silenced upright
with inlays of multi-hued walnut
keys of ivory remain untouched
and are worn beyond repair
a testament that even
way back then, cowboys
demanded their air
to be music-filled!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
