And I've written the moon in male form in reference to the man on the moon!.

The moon was cloaked in
Umber hue
No fire like Sol did
He forth spew
No rings upon his
Fingers bare
No wash of red as
In Mars stare
No Venus beauty
On Moon face
And so he hid his
Deep disgrace
A sliver only
Did he show
Of promise in his
Meager glow
The Moon wore umber
On the night
That shadow stole the
