I'm not sure about Roger McGough!. I do believe that many poets where the art form of the masses!. Certainly Keats was!. So as weird as it seems in the commercial sense, it's still getting to a wider audience!. I think that alot of the rappers today are still poets!. Just of our time!. Otherwise how can we define lyricism and poetry!? Great question though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
