Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
consonance -- harmony or agreement of elements or parts; accord:
a pleasing combination of simultaneous musical sounds; harmony of tones: Prosody a partial rhyme in which consonants in stressed syllables are repeated but vowels are not (Ex!.: mocker, maker)

(This has rhythm, or meter, and is easy to read because one line leads easily into the next; this is also consonance, mellow perhaps!.)
the ace of spades, the bidders say,
is just another card
but, when royalty is all around,
it makes for a good day

The call me mellow yellow
but I'm the Ace of Spade
a really relaxed fellow
not worried about a grade!.
{{Again, the feeling of smooth sailing in the meter}}

meter or rhythm is: a) rhythm in verse; measured, patterned arrangement of syllables, primarily according to stress or length b) the specific rhythm as determined by the prevailing foot and the number of feet in the line [iambic meter] c) the specific rhythmic pattern of a stanza as determined by the kind and number of lines
Apply music to your poetry and you open the door to songs:
the basic pattern of beats in successive measures of a piece of music: it is usually indicated in the time signature

Hope this helps!. tWww@QuestionHome@Com
