The owls did not fly last night!.!.!.
The moon did not shine!.!.!.
Clouds did not belong to the night!.!.!.
Trees folded their leaves tightly!.!.!.
A hush was on darkness, horns, cars,
A silence of pending, waiting,
Anticipation in hours!.!.!.
Sounded for all the world, like
November 3rd!.!.!.but, it was just
Last night!. Morning came with
The Dawn, fretfully, sneaking,
Looking over it's shoulder
At what should have been night!.
October 30th, just yesterday!.!.!.
Was not at all right!.!.!.something,
Happening, not happening!.!.!.
Into the dark, before Dawn,
Went my feet, flashlight, and
Hope!.!.!.a little further, arrived
At the backyard coop, draped,
Shrouded in fog!. Put one hand
On its hinged door!.!.!.!.
Looked in!.!.!.Snidely!?!?!?
PEEP-PEEP-PEEP-PEEP!!!!
And verily got PECKED!!! By
SNIDELY!!! Stood outside that
Coop, and waited!.!.!.a voice sounded!.!.!.
*sssshhhhhhh!!!!!! Peeps are hatching!.!.!.
I can't move!.!.!.they're all wet and
Squiggly!.!.!.!.Junior! Back under my
Feathers!.!.!.Now!!!!*
It's absolutely official!!!
Snidely's a DADDY!!! Uh,
Mother! Uh, Moddy!

I was gettin "Coop Fever"!.
Tonite I can go out and howl!.!.!.
!.!.!.and prowl!.!.!.with the midnite owl!.!.!.
We'll party til we poop!.!.!.
leave the peeps in the coop!.!.!.
They have a 60 watt bulb to keep them warm
keepin them in their nest away from harm!.
Rusty Rooster will babysit tonite!.!.!.
!.!.ha ha ha oh what a sight !!
Freedom from sittin at last!.
The day has finally come!.
Now we gotta name those chicks!.

Fowls that howl and dance the night

Guess what!? My daughter and husband just bought 6 chickens, and put them in a brand-new pen!.!.!.!.never done it before!. When night fell, the stupid chickens huddled in one corner of the pen and my daughter (scared s*hitless) had to go in there and put each one individually inside the coop!.!.!.!.they didn't have the brains to figure out what it was for!. They've all got names, by the way!.!.!.!.can't see them being eaten when they stop laying (if they ever do lay)Www@QuestionHome@Com
