The Mindshark

the mindshark must keep thinking or it will drown
dragged deeper every minute by it’s own weight
confused between where is up and who is down,
again reminded there’s no deciding ones’ own fate

the sternwhale has it’s conduct to be considered
one must remember what the neighbors just might think
such a tawdry swim might still be reconfigured
but this ship with no modesty probably will sink

the logic frog can live on land or many different kinds of water
and jump from Reasons’ lily pad to moss covered artifact
how solid the surface he jumps to is, never seems to matter
after he’s gone, where he’s been cannot be tracked

then there is the ambitionoctopus in tailored suit
who can clap his hands in between picking your pocket
a dangerous and deadly foe till exposed as merely cute
his gate was open till Over-reaching came and locked it

the schools of poetfish still often swarm in unison
talent often swims behind the waterfall they dream about
they bank and turn and all too often seem to think as one
no one reads, no one listens, no one seems to doubt!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are so many different poems that use symbolism!.
Just look online for some classic poems!.
While Robert Frost does use symbolism, many poets do!.

You could also search by topics!. Just google around!.
