Broken Wings

From life's window
I watched a bird
grow and leave the nest
he flew around
to discover world
has one law: survival
of the fittest
cruel injuries brought
him back to me
broken wings
I tried to mend
while cupped in hand
he looked at me
cried, "Mom, I want it
to be over,
please, I'm too weak
to survive
you may succeed
in mending me
but I tell you this
if I take flight
one more time
it will be

Yes, you can mend the wings!.!.!.!.but at some point the bird must learn how to survive!. Whether it be to alter the flight pattern to avoid further injury or to avoid flight except when necessary, at some point the bird must use its own survival instinct!.

The best stuff always comes from strong emotions!.!.!.!.sometimes from those emotions we don't even want!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ma the hardest thing a parent can do is watch their child leave the nest and know that they will have to fall down a few times and learn how to get themselves back up, You can mend the wing but only in the way to prepare them for flight again!.
