Yes, I enjoy football -and my wife doesn't appreciate the complexities of the game!. I believe football (at least as played in the NFL) to be the thinking man's sport -plays called on offense, countering plays called by the defense, formations and blocking patterns set up to optimize the plays called, and if something is just slightly out of place things can be catastrophic for one team or the other!. It's like a chess match using large men in uniforms, helmets and shoulder pads -a form of warfare without the dire consequences inherent when nations feud!. I love the game -and while I enjoy it when my home teams (NYG and NYJ) prevail, I don't get too upset if they don't!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not a sports fanatic!. Wife is not a sports widow, but sometime thinks she is a yahoo answers widow!. Sunday's are lazy days when I do as little as possible, and this one doubly so!. I went for my sleep study and the technician gave me a Heimlich to see why I wasn't breathing right, and out came 3 ballads, and 8 beat couplet poem, and a sonnet!. Nope, I am baffled by any interest in ball games!.!.!.!.I ask my husband despairingly from time to time "How can you keep on watching the same thing over and over and over again!?" Cos that's what it looks like to me!.!.!.!.but, it is marginally less brain-numbing than watching !.!.!.motor-racing!. I'd rather watch paint dry!.
Luckily, we have two down-stairs rooms and he watches sport in one room, and I play on the computer in another!.
