Question: Do you like my poem!? is it good or bad!?

k i wrote this when i was 10

The Dog

there was a dog down the lain she loved to talk to me yes me as i sit behind a tree when she talked to me she was kind as can be gentle to me she was my dog

i wrote that after we had to get rid of my dog (not to put her to sleep)Www@QuestionHome@Com

i like it, it's simple!. but you should use some punctuation in it!. and line breaks and such so it's a poem, not just a stream of words!. i'd do it like this:

There was a dog down the lane!.
She loved to talk to me,
yes me,
as I sit behind a tree,
she talked to me!.
She was kind as can be,
gentle to me!.
She was my dog!.

but it's your poem, so do what you want with it!. break it up how you want, or even just leave it as it is if that's how you want it!.

there was a dog named sam
this dog looked at me like he di'nt give a dam
and one day we started to play
with his Frisbee's wouldent you say
well i looked at my feet as i took a seat
as i sat there i started to staer
o so sadly what did i see
my poor dog sam was not with me
he went to the road just as i did yell
sam what the h-e-l-l
sam looked back but then it was to late
