I desperetely need ideas for poetry, I've been writing a lot before but my brain is starting to bail out on me!. Don't give me lines, just basic outlines/plots/stories that are inspiring enough for me to plumb the deepest fathoms of my soul and express them through a literary bounty of truth and lovliness!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Man!.!.!. Inspiration comes from anywhere you want it to come from!. But you could try writing a shakespearean sonnet!.!.!.!. They are tough to write because you're so limited!.!.!. But the format is Iambic pentameter!.!.!. means ten syllables per line, and is in the form of unstressed syllable followed by a stressed syllable, this repeated five times per line!.!.!. Here is one I wrote!.!.!.

Alone am I when you are far and gone,
Awake am I when you are near to me!.
And to your every word and thought I’m drawn
God willing I’ll always come back to thee!.
But far and away you are so often,
I'm Forced to close my eyes, open my heart!.
To hear your voice, so my fears will soften!.
I dare not think of our love apart!.
But in the midst of this separation,
We must not think or dream of a lone night!.
But must find solace in just one question!.
On that lone eve, your heart do I incite!?
If your answer is yes, then lit is the fire
That can’t be put out, the true hearts desire!.
