While you have hardly penned a bit of immortal verse (and after all was this really your intention), you have found an intriguing way of continuing your lessons on poetic elements just a few days past!. You include here some standard rhetorical figures (to comic effect may I add), and even misspellings like "peom" in the penultimate line are metatheses, non!? (that should be a relief to all of those who can't spell)!. Most notable are the instances of hyperbaton!. Then, to continue the lesson, you suggest that substitutions be made to build easy ornaments (though how the change you suggest in S1L1 promotes alliteration quite escapes me) and rhyme (not necessary, of course, but this one changes the sense of the poem and to an extent its "comprehensibility")!. This is an interesting teaching tool since many respondents to your earlier question seemed to be missing the point altogether: poetry is indeed a craft, and semantic, syntactical, rhetorical, and phonological elements are all important; poetic sentiment, indeed the kernel of an idea, is born in an instant, but then germinates and ripens more slowly and in stages, under the guidance of a thoughtful and informed hand (how about that for an instance of synecdoche)!.
