Window screens yet to be removed filtering out tepid, bashful sun capturing breezes strolling about this final afternoon of Indian summer Twilight chilled, has skipped out early blushing harvest moon rising weakly sure signs, October retires tonight no longer teasing, pleasing my senses November soon to be boldly striding in frosty slate grey mantle it’s feature dreary bone chilling rain the promise frozen nights with scattered first snow Here on my porch, I fondly treasure memories of harvest scents and colors October’s grandiose hues vividly shown smiles coaxed, amber full moon light Brittle dry leaves stirring, tossing about old man winter awakening, stretching north wind holding rehearsal in parkas pine boughs bend in whispery applause Stars depressed, no camping out tonight enthusiasm dimmed, icy clouds streaking by this final night, final batch of tricksters snatches me from my reverie Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: fine way of telling of a good ending of a day in fall!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Beautifully written,--- I always resign myself!.Every spring I tell myself,come summer I am going to really enjoy it this year!.Then summer comes and I never do half the things I promised myself on those long winter nights!.But winter brings, more reading,more time with friends,holidays parties,lots to look forward to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I think a bit of both!.!.
