Question: Ok, now is this poem good!.*********!?

this is for a who am i project:

I walk in the room
They stare
Im not like the rest of them

They try to figure out
Why I’m not in my place
or did they mean to say my race

People think I’m half and half
So it’s ok for my “oreo” behavior
But the truth is I am 100% African American
So would it still be ok then
Or outrageous

Don’t get me wrong
I love my race
But in this colorless place
I question why I should be this way

I’ve always been more than the black kid
But I’ve always wondered
Would any of the people I know look twice if I was …
Never mind

As I walk and I think
I wonder if it would matter if I was black or white

Wow, it is really touching!. It almost made me tear up a little!.

The only thing I can see wrong with it, is that it doesn't flow very well in certain stanzas!. But I suppose if you're doing free-verse, it works!.

It started good!. What happened then!? You have to keep the beat!. The same beat throughout the entire poem, or it will be tipsing down, like it did!.

Read it again out loud and edit it!.
