Question: How different are we really!? !?
Differences
By S!.F!. Reborn (Koye Lott)

Why fear whom you choose to not know!?
Whether it's long hair,
Braids, Dreadlocks, or afros!.
Or if the hair is is straight,
In a hue of red or blonde!.
What will it take before the heads get along!?

My head might be different from your head,
Mine is tan!.
Before you see the color of my head,
See the man!.
The one who would be a friend,
Yet can't be a foe!.
Who grew up as much on Sanford and Son,
As Edgar Allen Poe!.

How different are we!?
When we all bleed a blood of red!.
Stop the hatred!
Time to put the foolishness to bed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
So Black Man!.!.!.I am White
I grew up fearing Panthers
you grew up fearing Klanners
I did not fear you Black Man
or you probably me
We were just trying to muddle through
to see pass the flags!.!.!. to the souls!.
Aint no skin color in there!

Good poem!. We need to keep hammering home this message!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This political debate seems to have brought racism to a hideous head!. I cannot remember a time when racism is in almost every conversation and personally I've had enough!. We all do "bleed" the same blood and are one in the same "God" no matter what we call or choose to believe what he is!.
It almost seems as if we are stepping "back" in time and it's a bad thing!.
We are all brothers and sisters whether we like it or not!.
Great poem and great inspiration!. You are a poet of all poets!!!
Peace & Love :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

We're quite different !. !. !. different from all the OTHER animals, anyway!.

Humans have always been
My least favorite people,
And they still are, but
They're all just humans!.
And, I fear all of those
I chose not to know!.
Even Poe!.

But, I've been called Sanford
And Juan,
And I've been called Mud
Colored a ton!.

But I'm still, always,
Just the one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"Who grew up as much on sanford and son as edgar alan poe"
brilliant!! the whole thing was great but that line was one of the best i ever read

in a perfect world people would be judged on what was in their heart and soul!.!.!.!.!.!.but just looking at some of the postings on this site will make you think that will never happenWww@QuestionHome@Com

Beautifully written,I applaud you!.Yes we are all the same no matter where we come from!.I live with international students from all over the world!.They are the future of this world!.They come in different colours and languages but they all have the same goal!.To make this world a better place for all mankind!.I trust they will do their part, as have you by writing this poem!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I enjoyed the poem, I think the message was very real and strong

For some reason I thought it came to an ending to soon!. Maybe just me, seemed liked it need 4 more linesWww@QuestionHome@Com

The only thing I could say negative about this poem is that you should extend it!. Really drive the point home!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

One of your best, Semper! As Dondi pointed out, it starts with the parents!. Our children mirror our teachings!. When I see your picture I see a real friend in a virtual world with a great heart!Www@QuestionHome@Com

To say that I don't see skin color would be a lie!. I see skin color foremost, because that is what I see first!. So when you walk past me do I see a black man!? No, I see a man who happens to be black (tan, brown or any other shade)!. I also see men who are red and pink (white), and yellow toned!. I also see beautiful women!. Yes, I see the color, but it makes no difference to me!. There was a time in my youth, when I was taught that there was a difference!. I was taught by my peers, my teachers, my preachers, and about everyone except my parents!. They kept telling me color didn't matter!. I found that out for myself in Vietnam!. You cannot fight back to back and side by side with any man and hate him for his color!. I learned that lesson early and have tried to reach it ever since!. A man is a man and by any color he might happen to have on his skin doesn't get enhanced or detracted!. I hope someday everyone learns this lesson, but I also realize it won't happen in my lifetime, but maybe soon!.
Maybe this artist poem will help spread that message, you have indeed written a worthy piece!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Right, you are very right, though there is a small difference between humans - their education, and all their fears - oh, lot of fears!.

But

Hey!
HOW do you like
your steak!?

Well, but very, very well beaten before have it roasted done for you,
or simple, in all its juicy blood after it had been sliced!?

I'm simply curious! How would men like to have their lover, speaking the above point of view (comparing women with a steak)!?

When it's about anything else, except your pride (!!!), you won't have an answer, but you just have your time
and
exactly like in the picture, that baby boy:
http://upperiscope!.com!.au/buddies_H_O!.ht!.!.!.

"the fascination never ends !!!"

TIME is passing, though !!!

It shall remain NOTHING of your steak!
But !.!.!. there is plenty of fish out there for you !.!.!.
Yeah!

I have been enough crying! I had enough just waiting for !.!.!. NOTHING!.
Men are doing "their job" - they bring the Hell on Earth!.
When men cannot f*** anymore, or depending on their interest, they do wars!

LOVE!? What is that!? Do men know it!?
They just f*** sometimes, and fight, lie, drink !.!.!., no matter the colour of the skin, men are all the same - you're perfectly right!

These are just some differences!.
E!.g!. To sincerely speak your mind, like we are doing in here, right now!.

Thank you, SemperWww@QuestionHome@Com
