Question: What do we have left to believe in!?
We are durity in our thought
the distal remains
of a kindred species that once roamed
this pasture of glass
cut to ribbons by malice
and the pandering of the pervious few!.
We clamor for a grip on the greased
wheel
we are scullions of our own homes
weary and black
waiting for a God boy to remedy
our excise
of faith!.

Everything in which we wish to believe!.
Our Whole being is ours to entrust or empower!.
We have Darkness if we choose not to seek light!.
We have ourselves to Question, and indeed to answer to!.
We have Eternity,or Death,
Ignorance or Wisdom,
Love or Hate, It is All ours,
For the Choosing!.
Belief is not in having a God,
It is in Believing the Choices
We make, To be right!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

This has come to mind in my answer to your writing!.!.!.
For the Fallen
Shadows fall upon this place
Where time forgot and hope’s erased
The sights and sounds
Of past mistakes
And light does fade with changing haste
Does this mean, no longer try
Does it paint the last goodbye
Or can it be that Heaven Stains
The very grain of our remains

Don't you dare turn emo on me, now, DMag!.
The flow (like I know diddly about flow) was dark and brooding, matching the tone of the content to a tee, how do you do it!?
And I liked "God boy" to remedy our "excise of faith!." Great pairing of words in those phrases!.

The words in your poem answer the question differently from the lines!.
Left to us are: the power of the word, the belief in each other, the ability to put that power and that belief into poetry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
