Hello,
this is a little poem I wrote about a ghost!. I dont really know yet if I believe in them!. I am looking for Constructive Critism!. I know I have followed the 8 -12 syllable count but this is just my way of doing it!. Hope you like it!.
The ghost
She’ll watch you sleep late at night,
But don’t wake up with a fright,
She might look powerful and maybe scary
But she is just a ghost as small as any,
You might wake up and see her there,
But all she wants to do is stare,
She can’t hurt you don’t worry your safe,
Go back to sleep, dream in place,
For she doesn’t kill, she just learns each day,
She really doesn’t like being that way,
She wants to be human like everyone else,
She wants her old body back to herself,
This little dream will never come true,
And she’ll keep on haunting people like you,
Her hopes will get higher but one day she’ll realize,
There is no way; she cannot get that prize,
That’s the day when evil she’ll get,
She’ll kill for happiness and never forget,
How much she’s unhappy and how she can’t change,
She’s a ghost forever, she cannot exchange,
And She’ll always go back to her dead body,
She’ll wish for it back, but that wish is unlucky!.
And if you do encounter this lonely beast,
Don’t make eye contact or you won’t be released!.
