Bad spelling!.
Bad grammar!.
Poor construction!.!.

There are also a lot of poems entered into themed competitions that have no relevance to the theme, i!.e!. a war poem submitted to a contest for nature poetry!.

Some contests specify a maximum length and again, some people ignore this and send in poems that are too long!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
