Question: How often have you seen someone at!?
"Face Value" - etheree'

Please,
won't you
see through lies!?
I am human,
I am what I am,
and might not live up to
your ideas of perfection!.
My lips hold no judgment for you,
there is only sorrow in my eyes!.
I would have taken you into my heart!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Is this poem addressed to a god!? If not, the narrator is addressing a human like herself!. First, the narrator uses the (cliched) expression "I am human," and then the expression used in the OT to Moses at the burning bush, "I am what I am!." Is the narrator god or human!? To whom is the poem addressed!?

Sorry, Eva, but I can't wrap my mind around this one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

How much love is sacrificed in the face of unattainable ideals!? Or, perhaps, fear of them!. There is so much poignant beauty in humanness when eyes, like your lips "hold no judgment"!. As always, your poem has truth as well as beauty!. Thank you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
