I would instead focus on writing better poetry; everyone here should, and indeed several pay lip service to the idea, but they don't seem to be progressing!. They mistake quantity for quality, and consequently write garbage almost exclusively!. The problem, as I see it, is that the mission of the Martian poets, and several of the youngsters who write Y!A Poetry, seems to be to always place themselves before the public eye!. They want recognition, not improvement; that is simply immature!. The problem is only exacerbated by a second rate publishing concern that is forever blowing its own horn here; they promise people who are not yet developed as artists to settle into their comfortable delusions!. I didn't buy into the hype, though I was approached!. You see, I have no need for such things, or more generally for phoniness!. If you really love poetry, then realize before you have squandered your time and efforts on being a "somebody" here that you aspire only to being the king of a low and steaming mount that has many other contributors!. Use what you find here to feed your roses, not your mind, heart, or soul, and then write real poetry!. Incidentally, I see that Iano claims he is a genius!. Of this I have no doubt!. I am as well, with an IQ that places me in the top one millionth of one percent, and I do not long abide fools; his judgment I trust!. Trust mine, for I am a romantic, but one tempered by a touch of pragmatism!.
