Sculptor of clay, sculptor of words, all of the lands and the wilds in between!. both purged by fires, spirits arising, entwining the union of hearts from four corners; the wind brought together creation and sacrifice!. Brown of the earth and the blue of the sky, unconscious torrent of vicious reception!. Welcome the solace of fire burned clay, a statue for ages, but words drift away!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The sculpt may be a masterpiece, and may say great and wondrous things!.!.about the creator!. The poets art will speak to and inspire for generation upon generation!. Even if the poets name gets lost over time, he will still inspire as an "author unknown" rhyme!.I would gladly trade my many!.!.!.mediocre talents in for one healthy dose of true poet!. Interesting art forms to study yes, but I find none as fascinating as the power of the word!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The difference between the two artists( the sculptor and the poet) is that when their masterpieces are finished, the sculptor may yell at the statue "SPEAK", while the poet is listening to his/her poem speaking for it self, and heard/recited by millions!. Warmth is essential to life!. At the beginning was the word, and still is, and so it shall be!.Www@QuestionHome@Com In the book of Genesis we read that (hu)man was created in God's image!. The essential artistic and creative nature that is within us all is the most Godlike quality that we possess!. Of course it's true that we operate on a somewhat smaller scale than the Creator of the Universe, but the expressions of our souls, transforming earth or sounds into Art, is as close as we can get to being with God!. And yes, words drift away, likewise earth crumbles, but the great ones will live as long as humanity does!. By the way, this is a good poem!.
