Where Man and Ocean meet
by Jellz Fisher 081013

Tread softly to the water’s edge
o’er silken grains of time!.
Leave shifting prints, shadowy pairs
upon the shore sublime

Creep up to touch the lapping tide,
pray silence if you please
and simply stand in wondered awe
at surging vibrant seas

As briny kisses caress the shore,
so let your skin embrace,
refreshing touch of oceans vast
wind salty 'pon your face

Listen to the voice of old,
men have striven to command!.
At one you are with sea and shore,
this moment where you stand!.

Tread softly to the water’s edge,
where sands of time will wait!.
Shift gently there beneath your feet
and guide you to Neptune’s gate!.
