I wrote this poem over the summer!. I just started wirting about 6 months ago!. What do you think of this poem and be honest!?
My nightly waltz
This intricate night,
Wraps its arms around me tight,
Engrossing me, preserving me,
Interlacing its fingers around my being!.
The embodiment of the night,
Carried me further into my reverie,
As I waltz with this kind stranger,
Surrounded by harmonious winds!.
The clouds and trees mock me in jealousy,
Dancing merely by the winds essence,
Swaying back and forth without a pattern!.
I proceed, unmoved to laugh at their persistence!.
The night’s dulcet tune,
Finally puts my waltzing to a rest,
Closing my eyes,
Knowing that as I dream,
The battered walls will sway,
The maple floors will sing,
And this aged stricken house
