im debating whether these "words" would be better as a poem or as lyrics
and how would you say they were
war isnt over as it just keeps getting popular//
terror can be seen from far like high tech binoculars//
gather ya aunts, cousins, and nephews//
taking the whole family in seek of a safe place of refuge//
in the way praying the good Lord to bless you//
to come a cross a good samaritan with an act to rescue//
crime expands like elastic wristbands//
they wont have a great future but they came so maybe their kids can//
what kinda world do you show the newborn infants//
sometimes life is a haunted house do you show em the entrance//
or take it through the back door let it escape reality//
GET OVER HERE!! street fight fatalities//
many unforgivingly sacrificed by the thousands//
from families to simple townsmen//
whats the price of a soldiers neck worth//
tied up, blinded at gunpoint his face on the al jazeera network//
now way for them to be forgiven//
chance of dying outweighs ya chance of livin//
but true survivors defy odds and beat em//
like escaping a blood thirsty lions at the coliseum//
dont hold back give it all is carpediem//
expectations are dim but i could see em//
things have a way of turning back on itself//
believe you can and not blame everyone else//
whatever physical damage they cause//
cannot compare to the hundreds of live lost//
second chances are like awakening from a pleasant dream//
lift up your hand and scream//youre free from the ruling regime//
at the end the horror turns brighter than it might have seemed//
result will turn better the enemy might have schemed//
things dont always seem to go for the worse so reverse the curse and get a move on//get up of that core dont be a neutron//
why do some forms of peace seem death defying//
some give up but the best keep trying
