It's for a poem competition at school about world issues and just wondering what you think of it!.!.!.!.

He sits on the cold ground all alone
Watching his dog bite on a bone
He's hungry and tired, thin and weak
Oh how he longs for something to eat
Nobody cares they just walk away
He shouldn't be sitting there on a cold winter day
Begging for food is all he can do
He's getting so cold his lips have turned blue
His clothes are torn and his hairs a mess
