Question: Is this a mansion of love!?
Mansion of Love

The ballroom's lit with tiny stars,
The orchestra plays low!.
The dancers look as in a trance,
They move so soft and slow!.

I hear the voice announcing loud,
And turn my head to see!.
Miss Elysabeth has arrived,
A gorgeous sight is she!.

Reflections of the tiny stars,
Shine brightly in her gown!.
The ruby smile upon on her lips,
Shows not a sign of frown!.

A twinkle shows within her eyes,
I take her hand in mine!.
We dance the waltz of Blue Danube,
As I watch her face shine!.

This house was once a gorgeous home,
Turned cold from lack of love!.
Now once again the warmth returns,
I thank the stars above!.

Her eyes and face and body fair,
Consented on this day,
To be my bride and warm my house,
Upon the fifth of May!.

Once more this mansion cold and stark,
Will ring with laughs of glee!.
The children's noise will bless us both,
Pure joy for her and me!.

For now we dance the blue danube,
All night in tight embrace!.
I hold her tight as if at twelve!.
She'll vanish with no trace!.

I do declare!
Your words have caused me
to have the vapors, quick
my fan
to hide the blush!

Sorry, somehow I was Rhett's Scarlett in Gone with the WindWww@QuestionHome@Com

Good!. Nice rhyme pattern and imagery!. But I thought that you could had paid a little more emphasis and details to the relationship between Elysabeth and you, that would be more "intimate" don't you think!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

And a beautiful dance indeed!. the relationship can be seen in the dance itself!. the commitment to each other apparent!. very well done! Elysabeth must be beaming at this!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Lovely as usual, and the words sing as in a song of dancing joy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I wrote this for my wife on our last anniversary:

Stars

The stars are shining in you tonight
In the sparkle of your eyes
And the silver laugh that passes
By pearly teeth and through your gentle lips!.
Jewels in your ears and one solitaire
Hangs in that soft V below your neckline!.
You are full of the night's mystery
Brilliance seen from afar!.
Can I look to the heavens,
When Heaven is here before me!?

The stars will pass with morning
But still I look to you
Not as some distant constellation
In the dark sky of the Night
My own star of the early dawn
Venus and sun's return
Lighting day as well!.
Star and centre of my galaxy!.
