Question: This ones about my great grandparents!?

You see me as an average grand-daughter!. I see you as my friends and heroes!.
I stare at that gator in sorrow!. I am missing you two but you don’t even know!.
I guess people are just too crazy to realize, that every time they lose track they take a life!.
It’s hard to give it up, but, I can’t stay down!. Someone help me make a smile and get rid of a frown

I really like this!. I like prose poetry if it is done well, and this is!. I'm guessing that the "gator" is an inside reference!. Perhaps it could be set up just a little bit more!. also, I was somewhat disappointed by the ending; this wonderful little poem deserves a stronger finish!.
