Question: Are you familiar with "Venus Rising"!?
The classical goddess Venus emerges from the water on a shell, blown towards shore by the Zephyrs, symbols of spiritual passions!. She is joined by one of the Horae, goddesses of the seasons, who hands her a flowered cloak!.
Venus Rising
Symbol of goddess's birth
Venus rising from the sea
Sisters, rejoice! Unite! Share
in her rapturous victory!
Trinity of fertility, love,
and beauty, fully personified
her strength thusly emboldened
by these wondrous feminine traits!.
Aside from mythical legend told
this image speaks of much more
having felt angry waves that swell
pulling us to ocean's deep floor!.
Rescued too, by soft, blown breath
spiritual passions engulfing me
Sisters, we were created to rise
it's embedded in us to so do!.

Great poem! I do love the classics! I always liked the picture of Venus on the half shell, never one to clam up!. It reminds me of the bathtub Madonnas on many front lawns I call "Mary on the Half Shell"!. The Trinity is a far more ancient concept than Christian theology, and it is good to see you use it in its feminine form!. The planet Venus was long known as the morning star, and herald of the day star!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
