Silently Screaming
Body tenses,
mind writhes,
distant voices,
scalpel slices!.
Blood pounding,
terror raging,
brain failing,
silently screaming!.
Mouth dry,
throat raw,
eyes tear,
regrets abound!.
Mentally falling,
time numbing,
thoughts pulsing,
silently screaming!.
White lights,
blinding fears,
ghostly shadows,
gargoyle faces!.
Head exploding,
heart imploding,
demons releasing,
silently screaming!.
Glimmering tear,
whispering breath,
revived soul,
second chance!.
a short description of heart surgery!. not the most upbeat verse I have written for sure!.

Did you survive!? lol The terseness adds to the feel!. This obviously could also be an emo poem about slicing/suicide!. If you want to leave that as is fine or maybe a different title to hint at what this is really about!. Just a thought!. also, how about 'silent screaming' instead of silently screaming!? It kind of gives the feeling of falling down a winding staircase into death, then a revival!. Scary!. Good job though, I like it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
