Question: What do you think of this poem!? I wrote it when my aunt was diagnosed with cancer!!?
Remember

Life is unpredictable
Life is forever changing
One day someone could be there and the next just gone
You never see it coming
But in a flash everything just changes
No longer are they there to talk to
And never again will you see them
So how do you deal with the fact that at any second
The person you care most about
Could just be gone
How do you deal with the fact
That you may never see the person you just said goodbye to again,
You remember
You remember the good times you had
You remember all you've been through
You look at it all and realize
Their life is not truly over
Deep inside of you they will live forever
You will always remember them in a way
And always think about what could have been
If they hadn't been taken away
If they could have just stayed a little longer
And if you could have done something about it
But you know inside
That you couldn't have done anything
So you just remember what you did do
Because all there is to do
Is to remember

So sad! I love it though!. I like how it doesn't rhyme too much, not that anything is wrong with rhyming, it's just!.!.!. used!.!.!.a lot!. It was kind of a wake up call for me!. 6 years ago, my grandma died of cancer!. I was visiting my grandparents in Idaho, and when I got there, my grandma was looking through the hymn book!. My mom asked her what she was doing, and she said that she was picking songs for her funeral!. I was really confused how she was so calm about it!. But your poem helped me!.!.!. a lot!.
